Hello world!

This blog is part of a writing course at the University of Limerick. So, although open to the public, the target audience for this blog would mainly be current, former, or future peer students from the MA Technical Communication and E-Learning course. However, everybody is welcome to read by and comment on my blog posts!

My blog posts? Yes, I am the only author here as the purpose of this blog is to accompany me throughout this semester. I will use it to reflect on my learning, and I will cover topics from the field of technical writing and e-learning. Many of them will be somehow related to (or triggered by) our programme.

Topics also will be related to one specific domain within the broad field of technical writing and e-learning: the domain of API documentation. Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) are widely used to create or enhance software applications. However, to be able to use them, developers first need to learn the APIs they intend to employ. That is where technical communicators come into play …

To find out how I got immersed into API documentation, have a look at my About me page.

Now, stay tuned as this blog comes to life!
